High Liner maintains a modern, state-of-the-art processing plant right here in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. At every processing facility, our employees are committed to upholding High Liner’s high standards for cleanliness and quality control. As well, every plant that processes High Liner product is subjected to rigorous third party audits. We initiate these audits to ensure the integrity of everything we produce for you.

All plants processing High Liner products are HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certified with extensive quality control measures in place.

Whether it’s the actual seafood or the ingredients that go into our crispy batter or delicious sauces, all High Liner products are subject to rigorous testing during processing including:
•  Quality Control professionals testing raw materials upon arrival at our plants

•  Quality Department conducting daily evaluations to ensure we are meeting your expectations

•  Modern Food Science testing on all finished products and ingredients

High Liner welcomes the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) into our plant to conduct regular comprehensive audits on all our regulatory and safety programs. In addition, third party auditors provide objective results and information for continuous improvement of our processing.
