High Liner is committed to respecting the environment and reducing the environmental impact of its business practices, including procurement, manufacturing, distribution and packaging. Our company and its Board of Directors have the necessary governance structure and processes in place to ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation, and to reduce the risk of environmental incidents. We also have remedial and contingency plans in place to effectively manage such incidents, in the unlikely event that such a risk would materialize.
While our company is no longer directly involved in the harvesting of seafood, it has a proud fishing heritage of more than a century. Our people understand the issues |

related to the sustainability of seafood harvesting, and recognize the value and wisdom of sound resource harvesting and management principles. We are actively encouraging and working with our suppliers to ensure that the material we procure from them is processed from seafood that is legally harvested, appropriately documented, and approved by governing authorities.
