Greek-Style Fish Kabobs
Serves: 4
Cook Time: 5 to 7 min
Prep Time: 10 min
Metric Imperial Fish Souvlaki
1 1 400g package HIGH LINER frozen fish fillets (any variety), partially thawed
4 4 skewers
Metric Imperial Marinade
30 mL 2 tbsp each olive oil and lemon juice
2 2 cloves garlic, minced
7 mL 1 ½ tsp dried oregano
1 mL ¼ tsp each salt and pepper

Preparation

1) Pat fish dry with paper towels; cut fish "block" into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes and place in bowl.
2) Combine marinade ingredients and pour over fish and toss gently to coat.
3) Thread onto skewers and brush with marinade.
4) Place on greased grill over medium-high heat or under broiler; cook turning once for 5 to 7 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily when tested with fork.

Tips:
1. Thicker fish fillets (such as haddock or cod) can be fully thawed, separated and cut into chunks for skewers.
2. If using wooden skewers, soak in water for at least 10 minutes to avoid charring.
